Who is Luiza

Where problems become possibilities

How my professional journey led me to Product Design

My Story

My professional journey has always been rooted in the creative world. From my first steps as a TV reporter, I discovered that truly understanding people is essential. That attentive listening shaped the way I see Design. Today, I continue combining sensitivity, critical thinking, and purpose to create experiences that truly matter.

My first degree was in Journalism. Through daily work, I met people and understood their problems through stories and interviews. But over the years, I realized something was missing: I wanted more than simply reporting everyday life. I often felt frustrated that I wasn’t helping solve people’s challenges. My feeling was that I wanted more than just listening to problems — I wanted to think about solutions.

That’s when I remembered a childhood passion: playing with computers. Editing images. Experimenting with HTML. Using Photoshop to invent and create beautiful things.

At first, it seemed unlikely to turn that childhood curiosity into a profession without giving up the critical and questioning mindset I inherited from Journalism. Until I discovered UX/UI Design. There, I found a universe where it was possible to unite the beauty of an interface with the power to solve real problems.

Experience

I’m Luiza, a Product Designer based in Brazil, with experience creating intuitive, user-centered digital products. My expertise lies in designing complex solutions that simplify workflows and deliver real value across web and mobile platforms.

I’m deeply committed to understanding the full context behind every problem and approach each project with purpose and intention.

As a strong advocate for UX within the teams I work with, I believe in the power of design to bring clarity, alignment, and results. For me, it’s not just about creating beautiful interfaces, but about solving real problems and delivering meaningful outcomes.

I thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration and continuous learning are essential. Above all, I care about creating experiences that work — for users, for businesses, and for the teams building them.
